Biography

Dr. Collura received her undergraduate degree from Villanova University and her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internship and Residency at National Naval Medical Center and her allergy fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She continued her education by receiving a Masters in Public Health from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. Dr. Collura served 13 years active duty in the United States Navy in positions from general medical officer in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii to allergy specialty leader for the United States Navy. Her duty stations included National Naval Medical Center, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Naval Medical Clinic Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (Norfolk, VA).

In 2009, Dr. Collura moved to North Carolina where she began civilian allergy practice at Allergy and Asthma Center of Lake Norman. Her family’s relocation to South Charlotte led her to move her clinical practice to Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center’s Waverly and Monroe locations in 2017. She is board certified in allergy and immunology.

When Dr. Collura isn’t at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and husband. She practices under the belief that “you can have allergies and asthma, but they can’t have you”. She strives to ensure that everyone has the best quality of life possible!
