Dr. Lisa Biswas joined Carolina Asthma & Allergy after completing her Allergy/Immunology Fellowship. She treats both adults and children in our Mooresville, Huntersville, and Cornelius locations.
Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Biswas graduated with her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine followed by residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Virginia. She pursued Allergy/Immunology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee due to her particular interest in tackling social determinants of health and was involved in multiple clinical research studies in food allergy and asthma.
Dr. Biswas is dedicated to improving patient education to help ensure the highest quality of care for all patients. She enjoys unraveling complex interactions between the immune system and their environment to pinpoint the root causes of patients’ symptoms. Being able to provide relief to patients suffering from allergies, asthma, and immune-related disorders with an innovative and personalized treatment approach is an aspect of her career that she finds deeply rewarding.
She stays up to date on medical advances in the field of allergy by being an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, trying new restaurants in Charlotte, and spending time with family and friends.
