DockMarshelderPlantainBirchHickoryCottonwoodJessica was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. She started her undergraduate education at Virginia Tech where she played division 1 softball before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She continued as a student athlete at UNCW and obtained her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. Following undergrad, she worked as a post-surgical technician at OrthoCarolina before starting PA school and earning her Master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Methodist University.
After graduating PA school, Jessica returned to the coast and lived in Wilmington, NC for another 5 years where she worked in primary care before coming back to her hometown in Charlotte, NC to join Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center in 2025.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys going to the beach (Wrightsville Beach, of course!), working out, trying new coffee shops, and spending time with her family, friends, and pet bunny, Scooter.
