Bio:
Dr. Susan Hungness is a native of Naperville, Illinois. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors Degree in Science, she attended Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She then trained at the University of Michigan in pediatric and adult Allergy and Clinical Immunology. She is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology. She was involved in both basic and clinical research during her training and continues to participate in clinical research.
She enjoys running, hiking, biking, scrap booking and spending time with her family in her free time. She also volunteers in the Charlotte community.
She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; and American Medical Association.
