Bio

Dr. Roberts is a native of Upstate New York. After graduating from Colgate University he married his high school sweetheart, Teri, and attended Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City where he received his M.D. degree. He and Teri then moved to North Carolina where he completed a pediatric internship/residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center. He remained at Wake Forest to complete his Fellowship in adult and pediatric asthma, allergy and clinical immunology. Dr. Roberts is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is proud of his two daughters, Julia a Wake Forest grad and Masters graduate student in ecologic landscape architecture at the University of Arizona and Rachel, a recent graduate of UNC- Greensboro in music/perfoming arts who is a budding actress. His wife Teri owns her own on-line gaming site that has world wide participation. The Roberts family has enjoyed special outings through the years—fly fishing on horseback trips in Wyoming, dog sledding in Alaska, hiking glaciers in New Zealand. They are trying to figure out when and how to replace their two lovely labs and two cats as they’ve passed on in the last few years and are sorely missed.
