Bio:
A native Carolinian, Dr. Collins received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed Pediatric residency at Kosair Children’s Hospital/ University of Louisville followed by an Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital/ University of Kansas. Dr. Collins is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and recently recertified in 2007.
Dr. Collins is a member of the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology, American College of Allergy and Immunology, Southeastern Allergy Society, North Carolina Medical Society, and Mecklenburg County Medical Society. He serves as Medical Director of Camp Air Care, a local educational summer camp for children with asthma. In addition, he has been named to Charlotte’s Top Docs for 2007 and 2008. Along with his professional life, Dr. Collins enjoys traveling as well as spending time with his four children
