Dr. Jennifer Caicedo joined Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center in 2010. She obtained her M.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2002. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Shands Children’s Hospital at the University of Florida in 2005, where she then stayed on as a Post-Doctoral Associate in Clinical Immunology from 2005-06. In 2008, she completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Caicedo is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and also certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Mecklenburg County Medical Society, and the Charlotte Pediatric Society.
Dr. Caicedo sees patients of all ages - infants, children, adolescents and adults - in her clinic. Her interests include food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, asthma, atopic dermatitis and other skin disorders, and the evaluation of disorders of the immune system. When Dr. Caicedo is not seeing patients, she enjoys being involved in her church community and spending time with her husband and two children.
